Karen has been involved in event planning for over 12 years.  Primarily on a volunteer basis for non-profit organizations, she has run the gamut from creating, organizing and coordinating wine festival events to themed trade expos, golf tournaments and private parties.  All of this event planning included personalization and themed events that Karen took care of each and every detail including silent auctions, coordination of vendors, venue selection and complete management resulting in successful events for hundreds of attendees.

Loving what she did on a volunteer basis and after coordinating a couple of weddings for family and friends, Karen took her passion for event creation to the next level with Karen Marie Events.  Her daughter’s wedding in particular inspired her to reach out to others.  Using a shared Pinterest board, they built the theme and special décor items to implement in the wedding and Karen assured it all came together.  No detail was left out from exquisite floral décor, windowpane seating arrangements, multiple custom chalkboard signs, a custom built sweetheart arch, a gorgeous sweet table with a naked cake and even flip flops for dancing feet!

Karen Marie Events is connected with some exceptional vendors in the industry from photographers, caterers, florists, dj’s/bands and hair/makeup professionals to assure your day is special.  She focuses on unique décor to make the event one of a kind and can customize it to your personal tastes.

A stickler for detail and very organized, Karen works one on one with her clients, determining their needs and listening to their vision.  She then converts that vision into a reality that is an everlasting memory.  Her calm approach creates an atmosphere that just seems to help everything seamlessly fall into place with what seems like little effort…but she is quietly making sure every little detail you dreamed of is happening behind the scenes without your knowing it and making sure that your dream becomes a reality.   Contact us today to start planning your event!
